Perhaps it’s a botched Windows Update, or some other rogue software deleted stuff that it shouldn’t have. The bigger question, though, is why all of a sudden is this error occurring? It might not hurt to run a virus scan and make sure that there aren’t bigger issues going on behind the scenes. Try the 圆4 version first, and if that doesn’t work, then try the x86 version as well. Make sure Windows Update is up to date, and if that doesn’t fix the problem, you might want to try installing the latest version of MSVC from here. I’ve never used Creative Cloud, but it looks like the issue is actually a missing file from Microsoft Visual C++ Studio Code, which is required by lots of different programs in Windows. So, I would rather avoid all that if possible, but I guess it might be necessary. I’m a bit hesitant to use the Cleaner App as it came up with warnings about losing information etc and needing to take backups. So after more research, I came across an article that said to use the ‘Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner App’ when this problem occurs. I then tried to uninstall the ‘Creative Cloud’ app, but then I got this error message. So, I went to uninstall Lightroom on my computer, by going to the ‘control panel’, ‘programs’, ‘uninstall programs’ but after clicking the uninstall button nothing happens. (1st and 2nd attachments)Īfter a bit of research online, it appears as though the only way to fix this error is to uninstall and then reinstall the apps. ![]() It’s been coming up with these error messages when I try to open them.
